ICANN is going to evaluate the creation of new TLD in 2010.

This means that in the short future you will be able to register new domain names ending with a variety of different extensions other than .com, .net or .de and .co.uk. City TLD like .Nyc, .London, .Paris or .Roma are already creating a lot of interest but get ready to chose among a wide range of new generic extensions such as .Music, .Shop, .Sport or .Blog.

As an internet user, what new extension would really make the difference for you?

hi,

Mexico has its .mx extension which gains some importance, .de is found best up to certain extent, however .com remains the king and .net remains the queen.
